Our annual art exhibition was be held at Ty Siamas, Dolgellau from Saturday 17 August until Thursday 29 August 2024.
Congratulations to our People’s Choice winner Debbie Andrews with Barn Owl on Ash Stump. Runners up were Hilary Reed with Nest , Sandy Venables with Take Me Home and Michelle Silver with Storm Surge.

Welcome to our Lockdown Gallery. As we are unable to hold our usual exhibition of member’s work again this year, we are going on-line for this year’s exhibition.
Our exhibition has several galleries showing a wide range of our members’ work.

Coming this August our annual art exhibition feature work by many of our members. Admission is free, and you can find us upstairs in Ty Siamas from 17 to 29 August 2019 between 10am and 5:30 pm. Entrance is free.

Valerie Land, one of our members, has an exhibition of recent paintings at Oriel Ty Meirion in Dyffryn Ardudwy. For more details please see Oriel Tŷ Meirion.

Huw Lewis-Jones, one of our members, has an exhibition of recent Welsh paintings starting today in Liverpool at dot-art in Queens Avenue off Castle Street in central Liverpool. The exhibition will have about 6 of his paintings along with other artists who also paint welsh Landscapes. For more details please see dot-art.co.uk .

The Peoples Choice award went to Ken Bridges for his painting “Hanging On.”

The theme of this year’s competition was “Sea and Shore.”

First Prize (Kathleen Oakley Trophy): Sue Barnes for O’r Môr (Of the Sea)

Highly Commended: Brenda Jones for Plastic Sea and Peter Barnes for Breaking Wave.


To celebrate our 60 year anniversary, we are running a 4 day LIVE ART EVENT
LIVE ART Members of the society will be creating artwork live. Come and see, ask questions and get inspired
ART WALL Contribute to our celebrations by creating your own small masterpiece, we’ll provide materials and inspiration
JUNIOR ART COMPETITION We are running a competition for school children, come and see the works by our winners
